Chiesa di Sant'Antonio Abate del Complesso Monumentale degli Steri (Piazza Marina, 61), Rectorate of the University of Palermo, the final conference of the project  SMILING-CoSMetic from the fILieravitIviNicolabioloGica. The “SMILING” research and development project, of which the Director of the STEBICEF-Chemical and Pharmaceutical Biological Sciences and Technologies UniPa Department, prof. Vincenzo Arizza, has as its main objective the enhancement of by-products and waste from agri-food production, in particular from the processing of organic native grapes, aimed at the creation of nutraceuticals, cosmetics, medical devices consisting mainly of substances of health interest, and at the production of feed to be used for animal husbandry.
